Q’s House on TiVo

To add a custom podcast to TiVo:

(1) Navigate to the 4th menu item from the main TiVo screen, “Music, Photos, Products, & More”. If you are running a TiVo Series 1 or have a TiVo-embedded satellite box, you’re outta luck. This feature is only available on TiVo series 2’s with a working broadband connection running the latest software.

(2) Selecting this item will bring up a menu that starts “Yahoo! Photos”, “Yahoo! Weather”, etc. If you know you have a Series 2 but still do not see these menu items, you’re running older software. Click this link to request from TiVo to upgrade your software:

(3) Select “Podcaster” from this menu.

(4) Do not be distracted from all the lovely available pre-featured podcasts … you’re on a mission!

(5) Select “Enter a URL” from the Podcaster menu

(6) You will be prompted to add the RSS URL for your desired podcast. Only one thing can be entered here:

http://www.qshouse.com/podcast/feed.xml

(7) Dare not to be swayed by the sexy voice that suddenly enters your television’s speakers … as impossible as it is to resist.

Once entered, a ’shortcut’ will be added to your “Favorites” list (second menu item from the main Podcaster menu).
